Will a breast lift increase my cup size?
Patients must understand that while a breast lift comes with many benefits, there are also some limitations. While breast lift procedures can greatly improve the look of the breasts, they are not designed to increase their size. The biggest benefit of a breast lift procedure is an improved profile, allowing the patient to experience more confidence.
Can I combine a breast lift with implants?
Many of Dr. Savalia’s patients choose to combine breast augmentation with their breast lift and combine the benefits of both procedures. In addition to reshaping and uplifting the natural breast, incorporating breast implants means an increase in cup size. It is not at all uncommon to perform these surgeries as a combination procedure, often as part of a mommy makeover.
What’s the difference between a breast lift and breast reduction?
A breast lift and breast reduction both recontour your existing breast tissue for a more flattering look. However, during a breast reduction, Dr. Savalia removes excess tissue and reshapes the breast to create a more proportionate look. Some skin and tissue may be removed during a breast lift as well, but the amount is much less substantial, as the focus is on lifting rather than reducing the breasts.
Will I have scars?
Regardless of the technique used in a breast lift procedure, there will be some amount of incisions, which means that there will undoubtedly be some scars. Dr. Savalia recommends a specially-formulated scar-minimizing regimen that heals breast lift incisions and renders them inconspicuous. It should be noted that most of Dr. Savalia’s patients are so thrilled with their new look that they don't mind the minimal amount of scarring they may experience.
