Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)
Through surgical nose reshaping, I can lower the “hump,” adjust the size, and shape of the tip, or perform other enhancements to give you the look you want. This procedure, often referred to as a “nose job,” actually can have a remarkable impact on a person’s overall appearance. My focus with rhinoplasty is to take a conservative approach that enhances a person’s look without completely changing the face they see in the mirror.
Is This You?
Here are some of the common reasons I hear about why a person is considering rhinoplasty:
Please contact us online or call 949-759-0980 today to schedule a rhinoplasty consultation at my Newport Beach or Fullerton offices in Orange County. Along with my supportive staff, I am committed to helping you reach your cosmetic goals and I will take the time necessary during your consultation to give you my recommendations and educate you about all your options.
See Your Result before Surgery
I will work closely with you to ensure that you know exactly what to expect from your rhinoplasty results. Patients who choose my practice have the added advantage of being able to see what they could look like after surgery. Vectra® 3D computer imaging allows me to take a picture of your face and then show you how various changes to the shape and structure of your nose would affect your overall appearance.
I perform rhinoplasty at my Newport Beach surgical facility. The surgical technique I use will vary depending on the specific concerns that you’d like to address. With a minor reshaping, it is possible to limit all incisions to be placed internally where they won’t be visible after surgery (a “closed” procedure). More commonly, I may need to make a small incision in between the nostrils (an “open” procedure). This incision should heal to be practically invisible once your recovery is complete.
Through these access points, I carefully reshape the nose. In some cases, facial balance and symmetry can be further improved with additional cosmetic procedures such as a chin implant. Following your rhinoplasty, it’s important to give your body the rest you need to fully recover. Bruising around the eyes and cheeks is noticeable in the first few days, but should dissipate within a week or two. Many of my patients are ready to return to work within one to two weeks, with exercise and other more physical activities being added back in about a month after the procedure.
