What is Vectra 3D imaging?

One of the most common questions Dr. Savalia hears during consultations is, “What will I look like after surgery?” Vectra 3D imaging technology helps him answer that question by showing you on your own body the results that can be achieved. It is a very helpful tool for our patients during the consultation process.

How does 3D imaging work?

With Vectra 3D imaging technology, Dr. Savalia can take a three-dimensional image of your body or face and then bring that image up on a computer screen. From there, you can explore how various changes can enhance your look. You will appreciate the peace of mind the program provides by taking the guesswork out of how you could look after surgery.

A focus on breast augmentation

It can be particularly difficult to visualize what you will look like after breast augmentation surgery. By using an image of your frame and changing implant size and shape in real-time, Dr. Savalia can offer a much better sense of what is achievable. The 3D images on the screen can be rotated at almost any angle so you can see views from the front, side, or another perspective. Dr. Savalia can also bring up side-by-side images or even overlay two different options for a “virtual try-on” of different implants.

I was interested in breast augmentation, but wasn’t going for that outrageous look. I had lots of concerns and I was fearful. Dr. Savalia took that away. He made the whole experience so easy.

Dr. Savalia typically uses Vectra as part of the consultation process for the following procedures:

  • Breast Augmentation – Because the Vectra software is loaded with all the latest implant types and implant sizes, Dr. Savalia can provide specific representations of how you can look with different implants
  • Chin Augmentation – In our experience, people with a weak or receded chin have a hard time envisioning the difference a chin implant can make, and this program provides a good solution

With Vectra 3D Imaging, Dr. Savalia can show you your possible options for breast shape and size or give you an idea of how results may appear after certain facial procedures.

By incorporating Vectra 3D Imaging, I am able to show you your possible options of breast shape and size or give a picture of what results can look like after certain facial procedures.

Seeing the benefits with Vectra 3D imaging in Newport Beach

The Vectra 3D device gives Dr. Savalia the ability to hear feedback from patients in real-time about their desired results. That back-and-forth discussion is critical for setting the right expectations and greatly increasing the likelihood of a satisfying outcome. Having an image to reference during the consultation has been a big benefit for our patients by providing a reliable picture for patient use during the decision-making process.

Our practice is considered a low-risk environment, however, we take the well-being of our patients and staff as our highest priority and it is always best to take sensible precautions during a time like this. Please note the following in regard to all patient appointments:

  • We have implemented a “No Hand Shaking” policy at our practice during the outbreak to help limit casual contact and ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff. Please know that we appreciate you and are always happy to see you!
  • If you are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness (cough, shortness of breath, fever above 100.4), we respectfully request that you reschedule your appointment at our practice until you are free from any symptoms for a period of at least 48 hours. We have asked our staff to do the same.

In addition to our already extensive level of cleaning and sterilization, we have supplemented these efforts with additional cleaning and sanitization of hard surfaces.
